The Braver Framework

The Braver Framework contains a skeleton of commonly used game features in order to provide a platform that can rapidly progress from prototype to publishing.

Essentially, the framework is a generic UI that offers a range of functionality.

Mind Flip

​A simple matching card game designed for young students to test their memory and spelling skills.

 

The game begins with the cards lying face down, players must first find a pair of matching pictures on the cards. Once they have found a matching pair they then have to spell the word correctly using a letter jumble.

 

The use of PersistentData allows the teacher to customize the pictures, text and sounds outside of the APK.

Network Lobby Template

This project serves as a template for multiplayer games using UNet. This allows both PC and Android devices to host and join games in one click and play cross platform.

This project mimics the game mechanics of the 1983 game Super Mario Bros. by Nintendo

3rd Person Controller

This project uses a custom built 3rd person camera rig and control system similar to that of GTA4. The camera is intelligent in that it will avoid obstacles that obstruct the view of the character. Animation is also linked to user input, allowing for realistic character movement.

Operation Conjugation!

This game has been designed to develop student proficiency in conjugating regular French verbs while creating a positive learning experience.

Housing Crash!

Taking advantage of Nvidia's Blast destruction physics the player controls a spinner that destroys everything it touches.

Marble Phonics

This game allows the students to test their knowledge of the phonics sounds in a rapid fashion. Players must listen to the phonics sound and then must roll the matching letter contained in the marble.

This is a time limited game so quick decision making is rewarded.

Bye Bye Birdie

This project mimics the game mechanics of the 2009 Angry Bids game by Rovio Entertainment.

Test project using destructible physics within Unity. The fracture code is available online but improvements have been made to the tools ease of use.

The InterNote Project

InterNote is a prototype interactive educational program for children, which develops their music literacy skills in a fun and engaging environment.

 

The prototype program contains four separate sections each containing an interactive tutorial and a game based on a particular topic.
